Juli Henderson

Juli Henderson is a highly trained vocalist, vocal teacher, physician’s wife, mother of five adult children, and newly minted grandmother. She grew up moving frequently as a military child, but has called San Antonio, Texas home for 38 years. Her accolades include performing for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in front of thousands during his Columbus, Ohio Crusade. Her voice students have gone on to perform at basketball games for the San Antonio Spurs, faith-based gatherings, and with international superstars.

The In Our Arms blog is her passion project, launching in February 2021 to share the story of Juli’s late son, Robert. As the mother of a child with disabilities who passed at the tender age of eighteen, Juli’s writings give hope to thousands of readers, including a private Facebook group where members share resources and support. In August 2021, Juli launched the In Our Arms “Breathe” candle in collaboration with a purpose-driven brand, School Scents.

When not writing or singing, Juli volunteers on the boards of several organizations serving families caring for a loved one with disabilities, including Morgan’s Inclusion Initiative, The Multi-Assistance Center at Morgan’s Wonderland (The MAC), and Any Baby Can of San Antonio (ABC). She loves to cultivate orchids, travel, and enjoys a wide variety of music.
